All around the state, TxDOT is working to make your transportation experience better. From small things like installing safer roadway barriers to intensive efforts like the construction of a towering overpass or toll roads, TxDOT is committed to each region of the state.

In fact, we are giving regions more control over their transportation destiny. We are partnering with local and regional officials through Metropolitan Planning Organizations and in endeavors such as Regional Mobility Authorities, as well as developing pass-through financing projects, among others.
